I’m Melanie Bazile, a long time professional in the human services arena. It seems like just yesterday when I was getting my serendipitous start in human services discovering the messiness that comes with working with people. Years of challenges and learning led to the emergence of hope and grit. I have experienced a spectrum of human service organizational culture, finally landing at the work family and career home that I was destined for. At Compass, we created A Side of Hope to give you inspiration, tools, and support as you navigate your career in human services.
